A Fairfield County man with a lengthy rap sheet will spend a decade in prison after being sentenced for committing multiple robberies at Subway and several bank branches in Connecticut. Alvin Robertson, 56, of Bridgeport, has been sentenced to 120 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release, after robbing three banks and two Subway stores last year. A Fairfield County man has admitted to robbing multiple banks and Subway restaurants in Connecticut last year. Bridgeport resident Alvin Robertson, 56, pleaded guilty in Bridgeport district court to one count of bank robbery and admitted that he committed a total of three bank robberies and two Subways throughout the state last year. Man Charged With Committing Robberies At Two Subway Stores In Fairfield County, Bank Branches
A Fairfield County man with a lengthy rap sheet has been charged in connection to robberies at Subway and several bank branches in Connecticut. Alvin Robertson, of Bridgeport, has been charged with three counts of bank robbery and two counts of interference with commerce by robbery, U.S. Attorney John Durham announced this week.
