New Update: 5 Sacred Heart University Students Among 6 Critically Injured In Crash Near Campus
This story has been updated. Six people, including five Sacred Heart University students, are in critical condition following a two-vehicle head-on crash in Fairfield County. It happened in the town of Fairfield around 12:05 a.m., Friday, Sept. 29 on Jefferson Street near Sacred Heart University’s Martire Building. According to Fairfield Police Lt. Edward Nook Jr., officers responded after receiving numerous 911 calls regarding the crash. Two Students Injured During Fairfield County School Bus Crash, Police Say
Two schoolchildren were hospitalized following a school bus crash which also injured the driver in Fairfield County. It happened just after 3 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 9 in the Town of Fairfield on Mountain Laurel road near Stroll Rock Common, First responders reported the school bus struck a tree and the bus was transporting four Fairfield School children at the time of the collision, said Fairfield PD Lt. A driver, mistaking the brake with the accelerator drove into the front of a popular Fairfield County liquor store. Connecticut Post Mall Launches Parent Escort Policy After Fights Break Out
The Connecticut Post Mall has instituted a parental escort policy the day after several fights broke out at the mall in Milford. Earlier report: Brawls Break Out At Westfield Trumbull, Connecticut Post Malls Under the new policy, which went into effect on Friday, Dec. 27, anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult 21 years or older while the policy is in place. Separate brawls broke out at two area malls on Thursday night, Dec. 26: the Westfield Trumbull Mall and the Connecticut Post Mall in Milford.
