New Coffee Shop To Open In Former Starbucks Space In Stamford Good news for downtown Stamford.  Winfield Street Coffee will open at Ferguson Library this summer where it will occupy the space where Starbucks used to be until it closed in 2018. Renovations will begin May 9 and completed by mid-August, said owner Breno Donatti. The coffee shop will have an outside entrance at 96 Broad Street or you can enter from inside the library.
