Two Men Nabbed Passing Counterfeit Money At Shopping Plaza In Wilton, Police Say
Two of three men were caught allegedly attempting to pass counterfeit money at two Wilton stores, police said.
The incident took place around 5:23 p.m., Monday, July 29, when Wilton Police were called to the Gateway Shopping Plaza on Danbury Road for a report of three men attempting to pass counterfeit money at Michael's and Sally Beauty, said Wilton Police Lt. Robert Kluk.
Officers arrived on scene and detained two Long Island residents: Latrell Garrett, 19, of Wyandanch, and Tyreese Spragg, 19, of Brentwood, Kluk said. A third suspect got away.

State Police Nab Bridgeport Man With Drugs, Gun During Traffic Stop
A Bridgeport man was busted with alleged drugs and guns during a traffic stop on I-95 by state police.
Rayqon Davis, 24, was busted around 8:53 p.m., on Monday, May 27, when Connecticut State Troopers conducted a vehicle stop of a silver Honda Accord on northbound I-95 in Fairfield, said the Connecticut State Police.
During the stop, troopers believed that contraband was located inside of the vehicle, state police said.

Suspect Living In Fairfield County Sentenced For Role In Police Shootout
A suspect with ties to Westchester and Fairfield County has been sentenced to probation for his role in a shootout with a police officer in 2017.
Jerry Reyes, 23, who lived in New Rochelle at the time of the shooting, but now resides in Greenwich, was sentenced to three years of probation after pleading guilty in Westchester County Court to criminal possession of a weapon following a shootout with Yonkers police officer Kayla Mayer.
