Police: Woman Attempts To Stab Ex-Boyfriend At Fairfield County Mall A 20-year-old woman wielding a steak knife attempted to stab her ex-boyfriend while he was at work at the Trumbull Mall, police said. The event unfolded on Thursday, May 31, when Janaya Bennett of Bridgeport arrived at a store in the Trumbull Mall where her boyfriend was opening for the day, said Trumbull Police Lt. Keith Golding. The ex-boyfriend told Bennett to leave the store, but instead, she threatened to kill him, Golding said.
