Covid-19: Connecticut App Alerts Users If Infected Person Is Near To help stop the spread of COVID-19, Connecticut is encouraging residents to download a new app that will alert them if they have come in contact with someone infected with the virus. The contact-tracing app, COVID Alert CT, is state-run and was launched on Thursday, Nov. 12. The free app is available to Android as well as Apple users. Gov.
