Man, Woman Found Dead In CT Home
A man and woman were found dead in a Connecticut home after police responded to a report of two unresponsive people with gunshot wounds. The two were found in New Haven around 8:16 a.m., on Thursday, Dec. 14 in the 700 block of Russell Street. According to Sgt. Cherelle Carr of the New Haven Police, police found a 52-year-old woman and a 62-year-old who were both pronounced dead by fire department personnel. A firearm was located and collected. Police Search For Suspect After Derby Woman Found Murdered Following Initial Hit-Run Report
An apparent fatal hit-and-run in Connecticut is now being investigated as a homicide, police said. Officers from the Derby Police Department alerted police in Ansonia of a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian who was struck at approximately 4:50 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 30 near the intersection of Coe Lane and North Coe Lane. Bridgeport Man Who Distributed Heroin To Overdose Victim Sentenced
A Fairfield County man will spend years behind bars after being busted selling heroin to undercover officers. Bridgeport resident Talvin Hinton, 43, was sentenced to 60 months in prison followed by four years of supervised release after pleading guilty to distributing heroin in the area, U.S. Attorney John Durham announced.
