Police investigators from the Milford Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to locate a suspicious suspect who ripped a door off a gas station and used a garbage can to steal cigarettes during a late-night burglary. Officers from the Milford Police Department responded at approximately 2:20 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 27 to the Mobil gas station on Bridgeport Avenue, where there was a burglary alarm going off. Connecticut State Police investigators are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to track down a hooded suspect who robbed a convenience store, stole cigarettes and cash. Vera Ribeiro-Menezes, 63, was arrested Friday for a variety of criminal offenses associated with illegal alcohol and cigarette sales at her Danbury home, said Danbury Police Det. Lt. Mark Williams.
