Fairfield Father Accused Of Killing Ex-Wife Freed On $2M Bond Posted By Son The son of a Fairfield man accused of killing his ex-wife earlier this year has been released after his son posted a $2 million bond. Following a hearing this week in Bridgeport Superior Court, a judge allowed James Taylor, 75, to be released from custody under the condition that he lives with his son Chris Taylor, a member of the Bridgeport Board of Education. Taylor was arrested in February after he allegedly shot and killed his ex-wife.
