Woman Shot, Man Stabbed During Stamford Street Fight A woman was shot and a man was stabbed multiple times during a large street fight in Fairfield County. The incident took place in Stamford around 2:10 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 29 in the area of lower Summer Street. The wounded duo was discovered when Stamford Police officers responded to a report of a large group of people -- approximately 30- 40 people -- arguing and physically fighting with each other in the street, said Capt. Reports Of Peeping Tom Lead To Arrest Of Suspect In Burglary, Other Crimes In Stamford Complaints of a Peeping Tom in a Stamford neighborhood led to the apprehension of a 45-year-old burglary suspect linked to a burglary and other crimes. At approximately 11 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8, Officer Eric Cooper, a rookie with the department, began to check the Parc Grove Apartments at 180 Broad St. as a result of numerous previous reports of suspicious activity and resident complaints of the Peeping Tom.
