Six Vehicles Stolen Overnight In One Fairfield County Town Six vehicles, which were left running, were stolen from various locations in one Fairfield County town overnight. Stratford Police reported that the six vehicles were stolen between the hours of 5 and 7:30 a.m., on Tuesday, Jan. 12, said Captain Paul DosSantos. All six vehicles were left unlocked with the engines running and were unattended when taken, DosSantos said. Wanted: Police Ask Public's Help In Search For Home Burglary Suspect Do you know him? Police are the public for help in identifying a man who might be involved with a home burglary that took place last week. The man was photographed on surveillance around 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, near Barnum and Broadbridge avenues in Stratford.  He was wearing white pants, glasses, a winter hat and was carrying what appears to be some type of backpack on his back.  Stratford Police said he appears to be a painter or taper. ID Released For Man Killed After Losing Control Of Vehicle, Hitting Tree In Stratford A 32-year-old man was killed after losing control of his vehicle and hitting a tree over the weekend. Richard Pugh of Stratford was killed Sunday in the single-vehicle crash on Broadbridge Avenue near Success Avenue, said Stratford Police Capt. Frank Eannotti. During the crash, Eannotti said Pugh was driving his car south on Broadbridge Avenue when he lost control of the vehicle. The car left the roadway and struck a tree.
