26-Year-Old Man Charged In 4-Car Crash Involving Police Cruiser On CT Bridge A 26-year-old man faces assault charges after allegedly rear-ending a police cruiser on a construction assignment and causing a four-vehicle crash on a busy bridge in Connecticut, authorities announced.  New London resident Billy Ray Goff turned himself in to authorities on Monday, Aug. 19 on an active arrest warrant related to a crash in September 2023 on the Gold Star Bridge in the New London County town of Groton, Connecticut State Police announced.  The bridge carries Interstate 95 over the Thames River.  According to police, on Thursday, Sept. 7, 2023, just after 3 p.m.…
