Man Nabbed For Gas Station Attempted Armed Robbery In Bridgeport A Bridgeport man was nabbed for allegedly attempting to rob a CITGO gas station at gunpoint. Zachary Hobbs, 61, was arrest by warrant for an attempted armed robbery at the CITGO Gas Station located at 605 Success Avenue, in Stratford, said Stratford Police Capt. Frank Eannotti. The incident occurred on Feb. 16. During the robbery, Hobbs displayed what appeared to be a handgun but fled the scene when the clerk refused to provide any money, Eannotti said. Hobbs was charged with attempted robbery and carrying a dangerous weapon. He is being held on $200,000 bond with a co…
