Man Busted For Drugs Following Police Chase
A man who took Connecticut State Police on a chase was later busted for drugs when cocaine was discovered in his vehicle. Anthony Stevenson, 46, of Waterbury, was busted around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday after officers attempted to stop him for an equipment violation, state police said. But instead of stopping, Stevenson continued to drive, engaging police in a pursuit that continued for a short distance, finally stopping on Ayer Street in the City of Waterbury, police said.
