STAMFORD, Conn. Several Westhill High School cross country runners had outstanding performances Saturday at the Wickham Park Invitational in Manchester.
Sam Lagasse finished seventh in the boys seeded race, while Claire Howlett was fifth in the girls seeded race. Alison Ambrosecchio was third in the freshmen race. Lagasse, a senior, ran 17:05 on the 5k course. Patrick Dibble of Manchester won the race in 16:43.
Howlett, a promising sophomore, ran 20:35. Alyssa Brehler of Griswold won the race in 19:41. Ambrosecchio ran 18:02 on the 4k course for freshmen. Complete results are available online.
