BRIDGEPORT, Conn --The Phoenix U-14 boys basketball team split on two games this week in Desantis Fall League play. Phoenix fell to New Haven County Orange 41-36, but defeated Connecticut Premier Hoops 51-33.
The Phoenix is an all-star team comprised of some of the top 7th and 8th grade players of lower Fairfield County.
The team is led by a Stamford 7th grader, Sean Morris. Morris attends Greenwich Country Day School.
