STAMFORD, Conn. The Stamford White Sox open their season Sunday in the Westchester Baseball Association when they meet the CTG Hawks/Collegians at Cubeta Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m.
The White Sox reached the league championship game last year and played in their sixth straight regional tournament. The White Sox are comprised of players of college age and beyond. Returning core players include Matt Inzitari, Brandon Romaniello, Russell Poltrack, Tommy Cappolla, Bobby Horn, Mike Sciaretta, Chris Lorusso, Tyler Collins and Jaimie Russell.
Mike Inzitari is the teams manager, with John Antonelli and Jim Romaniello serving as coaches. The teams complete schedule is available on the league's website.
