STAMFORD, Conn. – Results of recent games in Stamford American Little League:

Dr. Bs 12, Federal Knights of Columbus 1: Mark Raimondi pitched a complete game for the win. The Dr. B’s offense was led by Evan Kaplan with three hits, and Lucas Beldotti with two triples.

Camsan Electric 8, Air Solutions 1: Camsan Electric won in a battle for first place in the AAA Division. Camsan starting pitcher Chris Screnrock and reliever Jake Marshall combined on a no-hitter, allowing the only run in the fifth inning when Jimi Cosentino walked, stole two bases and scored on a grounder to first by Kevin Salvatore. Camsan's offense was led by Rocco Abbate's three hits and two runs scored. Caleb Benkwitt also scored two runs, Adi Rai and Rosario Pugliese each were on base three times, and Peter Psichiopaidas, Charlie Fraser and Joe Pugliese each were on base twice. The Camsan offense was slowed down by David Collazzo, who struck out the side in the third inning.

Air Solutions 12, Rubino 7: Air Solutions was led by David Collazo and Jake Dobrucky with three hits apiece. The offense also received contributions from Rocky Cuscuna, Jimi Cosentino, and Kevin Salvatore. Air Solutions went with a pitcher-by-committee approach, utilizing six pitchers -- Dobrucky, Conner Harshman, Cuscuna, Cosentino, Collazo and Salvatore.  

PAL 5, Federal Knights of Columbus 0: Stamford American PAL improved to 9-1 with the win. Leo Socci dominated the K of C lineup, taking a no-hitter into the sixth with two outs before closing the door for the shut out. Anthony Rizzi and Austin Sampel ignited the PAL lineup with a combined five hits and three RBI.

PAL 13, Instant Replay 1: Despite a first-inning home run from Nico Laveris, Instant Replay’s offense felt short in a loss to PAL, which improved to 10-1 behind the strong pitching of starter Danny Collazo. The PAL office was led by its table setters Rodd Salvatore and Leo Socci, who both reached base and scored three times each. Ten out of 12 PAL players scored at least one run. Anthony Rizzi closed the door pitching a scoreless final inning.

Air Solutions 13, Beldotti Bakery 0: Air Solutions got shutout pitching from David Collazo, who also helped his own cause with three hits. Al Pruszka had two RBI and Grihith Manchanda contributed two hits. The defense was led by Zack Zweig and Matthew Farro.

Instant Replay 6, Federal PAL 1: Instant Replay relied on pitchers Danny Sachs, Mike Riddle, Jack Palmer, Mike Screnock and Harry Mascolo in the win. Strong defense was played by Cole Cahoon, Nico Laveris and Lewis Baer.

PAL 9, Dr. Bs 5: PAL improved to 11-1 with the win. The PAL offense was led by Nick Romanello who went 3-for-3 with four RBI and two home runs. Leo Socci also added a home run, the first one of his career. Chris Rojas and Danny Collazo kept the strong Dr. Bs offense at bay with some solid pitching. PAL was helped out by several stellar defensive plays by Nick Romanello, Anthony Rizzi, Chase Parrott and Rodd Salvatore.

Instant Replay 4, Exchange 3: Instant Replay was led by a strong pitching performance by Lewis Baer. 

In other games, All Sports beat Rubino in a slugfest, 9-7; Dr. Bs defeated Grade A from the Federal League, 5-0; Exchange defeated ESC of the Federal League, 17-4; Exchange topped Dr. Bs, 8-2; CamSan defeated AllSports, 9-4; Exchanged nipped Federal ESC, 9-8; and Beldotti's Bakery erupted for a 19-8 win versus Rubino.
