New Radio Gig Reported For Stamford's Bobby Valentine

STAMFORD, Conn. — Stamford’s Bobby Valentine will return to the baseball world in the spring with his own radio show and as a contributor to NBC Sports Radio, Sports Illustrated reports.

According to the report: He will co-host a daily sports talk show beginning in April. Until then he'll call in weekly to NBC Sports affiliates to talk baseball. His co-host has been chosen, but won’t be made known to the public until March.

NBC Sports and Dial Global were expected to make the official announcement on Monday, the report said. Valentine has hosted radio shows in New York and Texas and worked for ESPN, the report said. He also worked with NBC Sports as a baseball analyst.
