Former King Star Belts 2 HRs for Bowdoin

Freshman Casey Correa of Stamford blasted two home runs last week for Bowdoin College in a 4-1 victory over Bates.

The homers were the first in the college career of Correa, who played at King School in Stamford. Correa also had two hits in the second game of a doubleheader sweep for Bowdoin on Monday. It swept New England College by scores of 8-0 and 1-0 to improve to 20-15 on the season.

Correa has started 30 games for Bowdoin, and is hitting .238 with 11 RBIs.
