Villa Maria Students Honor Vets

Stamford’s Villa Maria School got a jump-start on celebrating Veterans Day on Monday when students, faculty and staff hosted six former and current members of the U.S. Armed Forces. The guests appeared at an assembly where they talked with students about their military experiences, the importance of service, the value of education and learning, and the need to honor men and women who have fought for the nation’s freedoms. The program in observance of Veterans Day is a yearly tradition for the school. Pictured (L to R) are: Richard Kelley (Navy), Faisal Reza (Army), Sgt.
