The board has been awarding community service scholarships for 18 years to high school seniors who are Stamford residents and attending Stamford, public, private or parochial schools.
Each student received a $1,000 scholarship. They were chosen based on the following criteria: service to the community, service to the school, demonstrated leadership ability and acceptance by an accredited institute of higher learning.
The scholarship awards were presented to:
- Stamford High School: Jonathan Rich and Brandon Temple
- Westhill High School: Jenna Abrams, Joseph Aunce, Zoe Eliades, Claire Howlett and Rachel Katz
- Trinity Catholic: Matthew Pascale
The Stamford Board of Realtors Committee included Chairperson Millie Lewis Sanislo, and committee members, Joelle Bentley, Kim Hittman, Judy Amster and Isabel Leonhardt.
Stamford Board of Realtors President Thaddea Sheridan, Stamford Board Director Laura Feghali, and Stamford Public School Affairs officer Sharon Beadle and parents of the students also attended the reception.
