Snake Slithers Into Stamford School

Fifth-grader Michael Cardona and all of his Holy Spirit School classmates got up close to a boa constrictor and many of the other rescued animals of the Animal Embassy, which visited the Stamford school last week.

Chris Evers, founder and director of Animal Embassy, kept the kids interested by making the hands-on presentation age appropriate. Along with snakes, chinchillas, frogs and many more made appearances.

Animal Embassy was founded in 2002 to help people appreciate and learn about the natural world. Evers has traveled the world, studying different types of animals, including apes, big cats, reptiles and more.
