STAMFORD, Conn. — Schools in Stamford will be dismissing students early on Monday, Feb. 8, due to a snowstorm that is approaching Fairfield County.
The Fairfield County area remains under a Winter Weather Advisory until 6 p.m. Monday.
The forecast calls for 2 to 4 inches of snow along with 10 to 15 mph winds. Falling and blowing snow may cut visibility and cause dangerous travel conditions across Fairfield County, the National Weather Service warned.
The snow is expected to continue throughout Monday, with a chance of snow into the evening.
