STAMFORD, Conn. -- Keriann Maxelix has been named assistant principal at Westover Magnet Elementary School in Stamford, Interim Superintendent James A. Connelly and the Board of Education announced.

Maxelix was recognized this May with a 2016 Spotlight on Teachers Award for her work in developing and implementing the framework for the district’s SRBI program.
