Artworks in the styles of prominent American artists were displayed at St. Cecilia Elementary School May 17 at the schools third annual art show. The Stamford student-artists also led tours of the show for friends and family.
The artworks were created in mediums such as clay, plaster, oils, pastels and papier mache. The children tried to match the styles of several American artists they have learned about, including Jim Din, Mary Cassatt and John Audubon.
The art featured students from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. Art Instructor Barbara Lorenti set up the art show.
