The Stamford home of Gov. Dannel Malloy in the city’s Shippan section recently came on to the market. It features four bedrooms, 3 ½ baths and 2,893 square feet, according to the online listing. There is also a three-car garage, library, waterview and hardwood flooring.
The home was a 1900s carriage-barn and was rebuilt in 1998. According to a report in The Advocate, Malloy listed the home in 2011 for $100,000 more than the current asking price but did not find a buyer. The home has been rented to a tenant since then.
An open house is scheduled at the property on Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. It is listed for sale by Malloy’s sister, Gail. For more information, visit the online listing.
