STAMFORD, Conn. -- Stamford Mayor David Martin will be holding a series of town hall meetings with local neighborhood associations over the next few months to discuss issues impacting the city directly with residents.
“Stamford is an incredibly diverse city, with different neighborhoods prioritizing a diverse set of issues,” said Martin. “What is important to people in Glenbrook could be very different than what it is important to people in the Cove. I want to hear directly from residents about what services they would like to see from the City, and work to solve any outstanding issues, especially as we move into a new fiscal year.”
Martin will begin the series with the Waterside Coalition on Thursday, May 19, from 6 to 7 p.m.
Dates and locations for future town halls will be announced as the events are scheduled.
“Neighborhood associations are an important part of the city’s structure and provide a venue to amplify the voices and concerns of the neighborhood,” Martin said. “These conversations will help to shape future budget decisions and choices in city services. I encourage those who can to attend.”
