Wolf reportedly named a new team in an effort to renew his drive for the Senate that has been rocked by fundraising problems, public battles and high turnover, said the CT Mirror.

The campaign also filed its overdue year-end campaign finance report, showing it only had $144,330 cash in the bank, the CT Mirror reported. Blumenthal ended the year with $3.9 million in his campaign war chest, according to the CT Mirror.

The Federal Election Commission had threatened Wolf's campaign with sanctions after they missed the filing deadline in January, added the CT Mirror.
