WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- President Barack Obama and Air Force One arrived and departed from Westchester Airport on Wednesday as Obama attended a fundraiser in Stamford, Conn.
President Obama flew aboard Air Force One into Westchester Co. Airport approximately 3:10 p.m., and departed around 6 p.m.
Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino greeted Obama after he arrived.
Astorino, who lost to Andrew Cuomo in last fall's New York gubernatorial race, said he told Obama, " 'Over those trees is where Hillary lives,' " referring to Chappaqua resident Hillary Clinton. "Do you want to say hi?' " according to the Stamford Advocate.
Obama flew in from New London, Conn., after delivering the commencement address for the recent graduates of the Coast Guard Academy.
The fundraiser benefited the Democratic National Committee and carried a price tag of up to $33,000 per person.
The president was last in Connecticut on the Sunday before last November’s gubernatorial election to campaign in Bridgeport on behalf Gov. Dannel Malloy, who went on to win re-election.
