Miller Appears Set For Win In Stamford's 145th District

STAMFORD, Conn. — Incumbent Democrat Patricia Billie Miller was leading newcomer Republican Francky Trofort in the race for the 145th House District of the Connecticut General Assembly early Wednesday.

With two of three districts reporting, Miller had received 2,533 votes to Trofort's 712 votes. 

Miller, who was making a bid for her third term, is a lifelong Stamford resident. She has worked at the Stamford Housing Authority for more than 25 years and was a member of the city’s Board of Representatives before becoming a state representative in 2008.

Trofort, a native of Haiti, is a personal trainer and has said he would be an advocate for kids and the youth and for programs on the West Side, if elected.
