148th District In Stamford Goes To Incumbent Fox

STAMFORD, Conn. — The Connecticut General Assembly’s 148th District in Stamford went to Democrat Dan Fox, who defeated Phil Balestriere, 4,557 to 1,885, on Tuesday.

Dan Fox was elected Tuesday to his first full term in the general assembly representing the 148th District in Stamford.

Fox, born and raised in Stamford, works as an attorney and was first elected to the General Assembly in April 2011 to replace Carlo Leone, who was elected to the state Senate. Fox was appointed to the Connecticut Law Revision Committee.

Balestriere, who was born in Italy, owns Clambake Connection, a catering business. He is an active member of the Republican Town Committee and the Glenbrook Neighborhood Association. He is a constable in the city of Stamford.
