STAMFORD, Conn. -- Three school buses and a car were involved in an accident on Vine Road in Stamford on Monday, according to the Stamford Advocate.

The accident occurred just after 8 a.m. on Monday near the intersection with Kerr Road, the Stamford Advocate reported. Vine Road was closed and police set up detours following the accident, according to the Stamford Advocate.

The Stamford Advocate reported that police dispatches did not mention any children on board the buses involved. Two of the buses were towed from the scene, according to the Stamford Advocate.
