A 75-year-old woman left her Cortland Street residence Sunday morning to go to church only to discover her 2014 Accord up on crates with three of the tires and rims gone, police said. Police did not estimate the value of the stolen tires and rims.
The same morning at 7 a.m., a 31-year-old Revere Drive woman discovered her 2013 Accord sitting on milk crates with her rims and tires missing, police said. The value of the theft was estimated at $2,500.
The third victim was a 32-year-old man who discovered his 2013 Accord sitting on milk crates when he went to the parking lot of his Cortland Street residence at 8:30 a.m., police said. The tires and rims were also estimated to be worth $2,500, police said.
The thefts are believed to have occurred in the early morning hours on Mother's Day, police said.
