Teen Stabbed Outside Stamford McDonald's Uncooperative

STAMFORD, Conn. -- A local teen was being "very uncooperative" with police after being stabbed and trying to check into the Stamford Hospital emergency room under a fake name, according to police.

Lt. Diedrich Hohn, of the Stamford Police Department, said a teen stabbed in front of the downtown McDonald's was being very uncooperative.

The 16-year-old, who was stabbed in the upper left arm and bicep, refused to tell police where or when he was stabbed, according to Lt. Diedrich Hohn.

At the same time officers were at the hospital talking with the victim, they received a call of a disturbance in the High Street area involving the victim's brother's confronting the person they believed attacked him, Hohn said.

Hohn said officers were able to establish a very small crime scene for the original attack on Bedford Street, in front of McDonald's where some blood was located.

"This is what we are faced with," Hohn said. "They don't want to cooperate."

The teen was treated and released from the hospital.
