NORWALK, Conn. -- Two people were in custody Friday evening after suspects involved in a Stamford shooting fled in two cars on I-95 to Norwalk, where they crashed on East Avenue and ran, NBC Connecticut reported.
Metro-North cut power to the tracks in Norwalk as police pursued the suspects and one ran onto the tracks, NBC said. Three people were apprehended near East Avenue and Prowitt Street.
Norwalk police said they believe the suspects were involved in a shooting in Stamford on Ann Street about 7:30 p.m., and in Norwalk at Exit 16 of I-95, The Hour said.
