Stamford Woman Clings To Life; Police Seek Information In Attack

STAMFORD, Conn. -- A Stamford woman is clinging to life after she was apparently savagely beaten early Tuesday, police told The Stamford Advocate.

The 30-year-old woman was fund on Henry Street early Tuesday.

The 30-year-old victim was found bleeding heavily at the foot of some stairs behind a Henry Street home with her face and head bashed in, The Stamford Advocate reported.

Investigators are asking anyone who might have seen something suspicious late Monday or early Tuesday to call 203-977-4417, The Stamford Advocate article said.
