Police said the man went to the Connecticut Avenue residence on Friday just after 8 p.m. and as he knocked on the door and before the door could be opened he was suddenly confronted by two black men each armed with a handgun. He was robbed of his cash, the food he was about to deliver and his cell phone.

Police did a search of the area and the cell phone was recovered nearby in a yard with the assistance of a resident of the address and a police dog that was called in. The resident said they did not order Chinese food.

There was no information on the amount of cash taken or a further description of the suspects.
