Officers from the Greenwich Police Department were dispatched to an area home shortly before 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11, where there was a report of a man violating a court-issued protective order.
An investigation into the allegations found that Stamford resident Brandon Jones was in violation of a full no-contact protective order by being in the residence. When officers attempted to apprehend him, Jones attempted to evade them by fleeing on foot. He was quickly caught and arrested.
Jones, 32, was charged with criminal trespassing, interfering with officers and resisting arrest and violation of a protective order. He is currently being held in lieu of $10,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in court on Friday to answer the charges.
