Edward J. Parr, 57, was arrested Tuesday by Connecticut State Police following the investigation which began in September 2017 after his actions were discovered by a state police investigator working in the Computer Crimes and Electronic Evidence Laboratory.
After the initial activity was uncovered, the state police Computer Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at his apartment where police seized numerous items of "evidentiary value," the state police said.
Parr turned himself into police in Bridgeport on an active warrant on Tuesday. He was charged with promoting minor/obscene performances and illegal possession of child porn.
He was released after posting $100,000 bond.
