Robber Strikes Bank Branch In Stamford — Again

STAMFORD, Conn. — A branch of the First County Bank at 1110 Hope St. in Stamford was robbed Friday afternoon for the second time in about four months, according to the Stamford Advocate.

Police were searching for a male suspect, who was wearing a mask and gloves and fled in a dark SUV, in connection with the 4 p.m. robbery, police told the Advocate.

No gun was displayed, and no injuries were reported, the Advocate said. 

The branch was also robbed in November as well as in 2013, police told the Advocate.
