Raid Nets 39 Bags of Crack Cocaine And Gun In Stamford

STAMFORD, Conn. — A Stamford woman was arrested after a raid in which police found crack cocaine and a gun, Capt. Richard Conklin said.

Farrah Baker, 35, was charged with possession of narcotics, possession with intent to sell, possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school or day-care, conspiracy of possession of narcotics, and conspiracy of possession with intent to sell, Conklin said. She was held on a $10,000 bond.

The raid took place at Baker’s residence at 28 Perry St., in Stamford on Friday afternoon and police found 39 bags of crack-cocaine, each worth about $20 for a total of $780, Conklin said.

They also found an illegally owned .38 caliber Ivor and Johnson Arms revolver loaded with five rounds of 9 millimeter hollow-point bullets, and there were seven other rounds of 9 millimeter bullets also found, he said. The weapon will fire 9 millimeter bullets, he said.

Police are still searching for a second suspect, who was not at the residence at the time of the raid, Conklin said.

The suspects and their residence had become known to police through other investigations.
