Port Authority police officer nabs Canadian trio at Lincoln Tunnel after W Hotel party assault

BEYOND BERGEN: A Port Authority police officer arrested three Canadian women at the Lincoln Tunnel after they sent a Stamford, CT woman to the hospital for 36 stitches in an assault with a bottle and drinking glasses during a party at the W Hotel in Times Square, authorities said.

The 35-year-old victim flagged down Port Authority Police Officer Dan DeVirgilio around 12:30 a.m. yesterday after being released from Bellevue Hospital and following her alleged attackers when they left the hotel, the authority’s Joseph Pentangelo told CLIFFVIEW PILOT this morning.

DeVirgilio approached the trio’s black Chrysler with Ontario plates and took them into custody, he said. The car was impounced.

Charged with gang assault, assault and weapons possession were:

Amy C Walker, 30, of Kitchner, Ontario (above, left);
Monique Boakye-Yiadom, 35, of Brampton, Ontario (middle);
Aleesha O Williams, 26, of Mississauga, Ontario (right).
