Police: Motorcyclist Suffers Serious Injuries In ‘Reckless' Crash On I-95

STAMFORD, Conn. — A Norwalk motorcyclist was traveling in a "reckless manner" when he rear-ended a Ford Explorer on I-95 in Stamford and suffered life-threatening injuries, state police told the Stamford Advocate.

The crash, which happened at about 3 p.m. Saturday, closed two lanes of the highway and caused traffic jams for a couple of hours, the Advocate reported.  

Jason Coran Gadson, 31, of Norwalk, was transported to Stamford Hospital with serious injuries, but the driver and passenger in the Ford Explorer were not hurt, the Advocate said.

Gadson was issued a misdemeanor summons for reckless operation, misuse of markers, operating while under suspension, operating a motorcycle without insurance, unregistered vehicle and following too close.
