STAMFORD, Conn. -- A man was arrested with a gun after putting up a fight at the train station in Stamford on Thursday, according to the Stamford Advocate.

The incident took place at around 1:30 p.m. outside the Stamford train station, according to the Stamford Advocate. Police told the Stamford Advocate that he put up a fight with officers from the Narcotics and Organized Crime Squad, but no shots were fired and nobody was seriously injured.

The man's name and charges were not immediately released on Thursday afternoon, the Stamford Advocate reported.
