Man Threatens CT Post Mall Co-Worker He Called 'Lazy,' Police Say

Officers from the Milford Police Department were dispatched to the mall on Boston Post Road at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 16, where there was a report of an unruly person in the building.

According to police, officers arrived at the scene and the investigation into the incident determined that Oxford resident Bijon Hume, 24, allegedly shoved and threatened to physically hard a coworker because the coworker "is lazy,” police said.

Hume was arrested and transported to Milford Police Headquarters, where he was charged with second-degree breach of peace. Following his processing, Hume was released and scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 13 to respond to the charge.
