STAMFORD, Conn. -- A Detroit man in Stamford to appear on the talk show "Maury" was arrested the night before taping on charges of assaulting his wife, according to nbcconnecticut.com.
Daryl Edwards, 20, was arrested Tuesday night in a Stamford hotel after police accused him of striking and strangling his wife, according to the report.
The couple was to appear on Maury Povich's show to learn whether Edwards was the father of the woman's child, NBC 30 said.
