Carl Lubin, who is being held on $200,000 bond, was spotted Wednesday driving a silver car similar to the one caught on video at the scene of Tuesday's shooting at Liberty Street and Stillwater Avenue, police said. Officers stopped the car about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, then found a handgun under the seat as well as drugs, the Stamford Advocate says.
Investigators are looking at the gun since it appears to match the one used in the shooting, police said. Lubin is charged with possession and sale of marijuana, operating a drug factory and possession of a handgun by a felon, the Stamford Advocate reports.
