Sharon DePaulis Dimon, 68, Former Stamford Resident

STAMFORD, Conn. – Sharon DePaulis Dimon, 68, of Seymour, died Wednesday, April 22.

She was born in Quantico, Va., Feb. 9, 1947, to Melvin J. and Mary Elizabeth (Betty) McElroy Reilly. She was raised in Stamford and was employed in the secretarial field, working many years for the Stamford Marriott. She was committed to her religious faith and dedicated much of her life to this passion.

She is survived by her son, Ricky DePaulis and wife, Maureen, of Long Island, N.Y.; three granddaughters; six siblings, including her a twin sister; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her son, Jimmy DePaulis.

Family and friends may call Saturday, May 2, from 9-10 a.m. at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford, with a memorial service to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Darien.
