STAMFORD, Conn. – Rose C. Conte, a lifelong Stamford resident, died Jan. 4, surrounded by family. She was 91.
Conte was born Jan. 17, 1921, in Stamford to Frank and Anna Canella Greco. She was married to Philip Conte, who predeceased her.
She is survived by five children, Mario (Donna) DiAcri, of Ridgefield, June (Daniel) Bianco, of Darien, Frank (Michele) DiAcri, of Clinton, Conn., Linda (Lawrence) Gaito, of Middletown, N.Y., and Anthony DiAcri, of East Haven, Conn.; a brother, Louis Greco; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Conte was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Greco; a sister, Francis Barry; and a grandson, Marc DiAcri.
Visitation and prayer services will be from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home in Stamford. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Darien.
